Corrections Policy

Helpful Info Base corrects material factual errors after they are verified. A correction may update the article text, headline, table, image caption, source link, or publication metadata.
How to report an error
Use the Contact page and include the article URL, the statement you believe is wrong, and a source or explanation that allows us to check it. Do not send passwords, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive information.
How corrections are handled
- We compare the report with the cited source and any newer controlling source.
- We correct confirmed errors promptly.
- We add a visible correction or update note when the change is substantial or when silent editing could mislead a returning reader.
- Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, and broken-link repairs may be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning.
New information is not automatically a correction. Time-sensitive articles may be updated as agencies, companies, or public records change.
