Use this tool to compare package identifiers with the exact codes in recall guides published by Helpful Info Base. It currently covers six product groups from five recall notices.
How to check a package
- Choose the exact product.
- Enter the lot, UPC, item, plant, or date codes printed on the package. Add the second code when the notice requires one.
- Open the detailed guide and official notice before deciding what to do.
Important: A no-match result is not a safety guarantee. Recall notices can change; verify the linked detailed guide and official notice. Data reviewed August 20, 2026.
What the checker covers
The current data covers Oma’s Pride Woof Complete Canine Chicken Recipe, the Midwest Poultry Services shell-egg recall, two Greek Gods yogurt products sold through Costco Canada, Lacnola Lactation Granola, and four GreenWise frozen-berry UPCs.
What a result means
A recognized match means the entered code appears in our researched guide; it does not replace the complete product description, location, package size, date range, or current official notice. A partial match means another identifier is needed. A no-match result can also occur because of a typing error, an unreadable code, or a newer notice not yet covered here.
